海灘(The Beach)

李?yuàn)W納多所飾演的美國(guó)年輕人，平時(shí)酷好優(yōu)游網(wǎng)路世界尋找刺激！有一天，他找到了旅行社提供的便宜旅程，於是決定到泰國(guó)尋找在網(wǎng)路上得知的人間天堂--海灘。在他投宿的三流旅館中，他意外地看上了一個(gè)法國(guó)女孩(維吉妮亞莉朵嫣飾演)，不料該女孩有男友陪同，他只能幸幸遙望…。有一天，一個(gè)詭異的光頭佬(羅勃卡萊爾飾演)對(duì)李?yuàn)W納多透露一些莫名的秘密后，未久即遭橫禍，只留下一張神秘地圖。好奇的李?yuàn)W納多開始尋線追循，并相信的確有個(gè)天上人間般的海灘。他試著說(shuō)服法國(guó)男女友同行，同時(shí)也拷貝了一份地圖供另外的人一起前去探險(xiǎn)。他們終於克服了種種障礙來(lái)到疑似海灘樂(lè)園的地方，然而面對(duì)他們的除了一大片大麻田之外，就是個(gè)持槍的獵人，在奔逃之馀，終於來(lái)到傳說(shuō)的海灘……各形各色的人聚集在一起過(guò)著單純而原始的生活，然而看似平靜的生活，隨著一件件意外及秘密的迸發(fā)，而進(jìn)入心驚膽跳的日子中……李?yuàn)W納多，一個(gè)雖然被寵愛(ài)卻又被算計(jì)著的青年，該如何沖破層層危機(jī)？并與所愛(ài)慕的人在一起呢？他之前所另行拷貝的地圖又會(huì)帶來(lái)什麼樣的災(zāi)厄？
