《驚異大奇航》原聲由 Jerry Goldsmith 作曲。
本片是一部有喜劇色彩的驚險(xiǎn)科幻片，男主角為一空軍駕駛員。他自愿參加一項(xiàng)試驗(yàn)，自己縮小后駕駛一座被縮小成水滴的實(shí)驗(yàn)艙進(jìn)入兔子體內(nèi)。但在關(guān)鍵時(shí)刻，一群野心家和武器販子沖入了實(shí)驗(yàn)室，搶奪了實(shí)驗(yàn)芯片，后來(lái)他和實(shí)驗(yàn)艙陰差陽(yáng)錯(cuò)地被注入了人體，從而開(kāi)始了在人體內(nèi)的歷險(xiǎn)。本片的特點(diǎn)是高超的電影特技，人體內(nèi)的器官經(jīng)特殊處理放大后放在銀幕上，相當(dāng)新奇和刺激。在這個(gè)“超薄短小'的年代，把科幻探險(xiǎn)轉(zhuǎn)向人體的器官，當(dāng)然值得一看。該片的取材和以前的老電影《聯(lián)合縮小軍》相似。
