喬治·溫斯頓，1949年生于美國密西根州的作曲家兼鋼琴家，自1972年錄制個人首張專輯演奏專輯《BALLADS &　BULES》至今，其柔美優(yōu)雅極富文人氣息的清新曲風(fēng)，使喬治溫斯頓成為先時代音樂界中極具代表性的卓越人物。

　　喬治·溫斯頓自八十年代出版了特定的主題作品：《秋季》（1980年）、《辭冬》（1982年）、《十二月》（1982年）、《夏季》（1991年）、《森林》（1994年），1995年因卓越的音樂才華而獲得了格萊美獎的榮譽。喬治·溫斯頓每年巡演110場之多，受到世界各地的熱烈歡迎。

　　喬治·溫斯頓童年在蒙大拿強(qiáng)烈地感受著季節(jié)間氣候的變化，“我在音樂中所表現(xiàn)的均來自季節(jié)的靈感”，他說，“這是我在演奏或聽音樂時閉上眼睛都能看到的意境。例如夏威夷松弦吉他使我想起蒙大拿的春季，James Booker的R&B將我?guī)У蕉际邢奶烊掌谡舭l(fā)的人行道。我所喜歡的、想念的、演奏的、錄制的每一首曲子，對我來說都是季節(jié)的聲音。

　 《December》是他四季四張專輯里的最后一張，也是最聞名的一張。很多人都很喜歡喬治?溫斯頓的鋼琴演奏風(fēng)格?！禗ecember》這張專輯的音樂更像是鋼琴詩，為自然世界的冬日美景譜寫的抒情詩。除了令人陶醉的美麗旋律，更使人驚奇的是音樂中在鍵盤上跳動著的靈感。
