All I Really Want for Christmas

作為5屆格萊美獎，56屆福音音樂協(xié)會圣鴿獎得主，歌壇巨星Steven Curtis Chapman的這張專輯（也是他第三張圣誕專輯）或許很適合成為圣誕聆聽的作品。當然，更適合的也許是Shaoey（Shaohannah，也就是封面這個可愛的小女孩）稚嫩的聲音。第一首就是Shaoey朗讀圣經(jīng)新約路加福音中第二章第七節(jié)（Luke 2:7-14），這便是圣經(jīng)中記錄耶穌圣誕的章節(jié)。喜歡Shaoey的同學們，最后還有Shaoey and Her Dad Wish You a Merry Christmas。

Chapman，這位收養(yǎng)Shaoey的虔誠的基督教徒，在中國，Chapman夫婦還收養(yǎng)了Stevey Joy， 和Maria Sue，這三個孩子給Steven一家?guī)�來了無窮的歡樂和祝福，并真正地融入了家庭，成為不可缺少的一份子。不幸的是他最小的年僅5歲的Maria Sue Chunxi Chapman死于2008年的一場交通事故。他還建立了Show Hope基金（曾以Shaoey命名為Shaohannah’s Hope），為希望進行國際領養(yǎng)的家庭提供咨詢幫助和基金支持，并為中國的孤兒呼吁。



2006年Steve曾在北京拉菲特城堡酒店舉辦了一次兒童希望慈善晚宴，Steven對中國和中國的孤兒有著特殊的感情，身為歌手，最大的報答方式就是和中國的人民來分享他的音樂。真正打動人的音樂是無國界的，Steven把他在生活中所經(jīng)歷的美好、感動和祝�；癁樾�律和歌聲，為更多的人帶來快樂和幸福。Steven Curtis Chapman也極其熱心于兒童的慈善事業(yè)，他近些年來一直為了孤兒的福利事業(yè)奔走于全世界。
