木村カエラ6枚目のアルバム。 これまで、さまざまなアーティストとコラボレーションしてきたカエラだが、今作は全１３曲渡邊忍（ASPARAGUS）によるプロデュース。 ギターロックのイメージが強(qiáng)い彼だが、お得意のハードチューンから「Ring a Ding Dong」のような曲まで様々なタイプの楽曲が揃っている。 また初回盤には「Ring a Ding Dong」「A winter fairy is melting a snowman」「喜怒哀楽 plus 愛」のMUSIC VIDEOとアルバム「8EIGHT8」のレコーディング風(fēng)景を収めたDVDが付いている。
そしてアルバム発売と同時(shí)にZepp TOURも発表された。2012年1月8日のZepp Sapporoを皮切りに6都市９公演が予定されている
