Hold Fast

來自Sheffield的英國4人組合在發(fā)行了首張抒情搖滾作品后，進(jìn)行了人員變動，吉他手Alex Saunders的離去換來了新成員Tom Dakin，而說到專輯發(fā)行的廠牌Fierce Panda，曾幾何時，都是與Ash, Supergrass，Coldplay以及Keane等大牌合作過，而如今所簽約的新生代樂隊顯然無法達(dá)到過去的高度，不過The Crookes很顯然為他們爭足了一點(diǎn)面子，樂隊屬于英國清新派別，為了打破Chasing After Ghosts所帶給他們的“早熟”冠名，開篇曲Afterglow即用急促的鼓聲以及快速和弦聲音帶來了一種年輕的朝氣，給人感覺就是適合瘋狂的跳舞。當(dāng)然George Waite溫暖而又悠揚(yáng)的嗓音給我感覺還是更適合演繹其獨(dú)特的浪漫，相當(dāng)?shù)湫偷膹?fù)古風(fēng)味。
