Trey Songz，真名為Tremaine Aldon Neverson 。2005年出道簽約在Atlantic Records公司。他是一位一位副有極佳歌喉與外表的節(jié)奏藍(lán)調(diào)新星。

Kelly的音樂后，深深被那感動(dòng)直達(dá)人的內(nèi)心深處之聲波著迷不已，擁有令人稱羨好嗓音的Trey，在友人的建議下，放棄追尋饒舌樂，開始進(jìn)入節(jié)奏藍(lán)調(diào)之領(lǐng)域。成功贏得家鄉(xiāng)才藝選秀表演，讓他有機(jī)會(huì)認(rèn)識(shí)Boyz II Men、Whitney Houston、B2K、SWV等專輯制作大師Troy Taylor，Troy鼓勵(lì)Trey先完成高中學(xué)業(yè)，再來幫他規(guī)劃歌唱事業(yè)。拿到文憑后的Trey，立刻搬到紐澤西州與Troy共事，率先在雷鬼新秀Kevin Lyttle與南岸快嘴高手Trick Daddy的專輯中小露一手，同時(shí)將首支暖身單曲 "About The Game" ，收在電影《Coach Carter》原聲帶中。
