身兼歌手/創(chuàng)作/吉他手/演員的Rick Springfield，于70年代初期組成ZOOT合唱團在家鄉(xiāng)澳洲相當首歡迎。1972年單飛。有著帥氣面孔的Rick Springfield也獲得過不少影片演出的機會，在1981年暢銷影片《General Hospital/綜合醫(yī)院》飾演Noah Drake醫(yī)生角色才成為家喻戶曉的的電視小生。并且他的專集也經(jīng)常達到多白金的銷售量。 在1981年Rick Springfield 憑借一首單曲榮獲格萊美單曲獎。1983年的專集《Living In Oz》收錄了Top 10單曲Affair Of The Heart，亦再度獲得格萊美獎“最佳搖滾男歌手”的提名。Rick Springfield 已經(jīng)擁有5首Top 10、累計17首Top 40單曲的成就，專輯也締造出1千8百萬張的銷售 。
